The location is good and magnificent, 0.5 miles from the airport. The rooms are functional and cheap, equipped with climate control, TV with cable channels, and a work desk.

Also, location was peaceful and comfortable, just a short walk away from Hosp Grove. We got brand-new and new-fashioned a double room with a king bed as an upgrade, nice gesture.

I have just returned from a real good stay in this pet-friendly hotel, nicely remodeled and new-fashioned rooms. The property's location is amazing and the staff are very very helpful and excellent. What's more, it's not too far from the heart of the city.

The room had a nice faux wood look and plenty of towels and hotel soaps. The AC was functioning well and the room was always cleaned by housekeeping. We were able to check-in fairly easy and the staff at the front desk were friendly and personable. The motel is conveniently located near restaurants, shops, and a market. It is also close to the beach areas and other attractions like the Carlsbad outlets and flower fields. I would recommend this hotel for its affordability and pleasant accommodations.

We reserved and had email confirmation for a double bed no smoking room at an agreed upon price, for a 3 night stay. We were given a stinking smoking room with 1 queen bed and was quoted a price that was $40 more than our booking price. It was our first time using your service and our worst hotel experience ever.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this exceptionally friendly hotel with the accommodating staff. The room was absolutely perfect and modern, offered climate control, TV with cable channels, and a work desk. The location was marvellous and we were walking distance to eateries and bars.

No refrigerator for meds. Lack of counter space in bathroom for toiletries, could have been because of handicapped room.

I found the rooms to be clean and the beds comfortable. It was a great deal for a one-night stay. The heater worked well. I appreciated the close access to a market and other services.

I could hear traffic sound when I went to bed, but I was quite sleepy and fell off soon to enjoy a good night's rest. I forgot to check whether the windows were double-pained.

The location was perfect, allowing me to easily park and walk to all the places I wanted to visit in Carlsbad. The room had a modern feel to it, like an IKA showroom, and it was clean and quiet. I was also pleased to find out that pets are allowed, and the hotel offers free local calls. it was a great choice for a business traveler like myself.

I felt right at home during my stay and have no complaints at all.

The price was great for the stay. Just a 5 minute walk toDowntown Carlsbad and 10 minute walk to the beach. Perfect location for going to the beach and Legoland.

The size of the room was smaller than anticipated. It was a room made for 1 queen bed, but there were 2 doubles stuffed in there.

I booked three double rooms for my party, all of whom agreed that it was a most pleasant stay. Its location is ideal, being only a minute's drive from the interstate, yet right on the edge of the heart of downtown Carlsbad, with everything that has to offer the visitor. A most attractive seaside resort, the beach is only a ten minute stroll along the flower-lined drive from the motel. Handily placed for when visiting Pizza Port, or any other of Carlsbad's attractions; we found this motel to be extremely good value.
